JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Omar Gonzalez, 26, of Jamestown, Joseph Green, 22, of Jamestown and Joseph Roberts, 23, of Jamestown were charged with second-degree gang assault Sunday. Police say around 2:13 a.m., officers were called to Winsor and Crescent streets for a male assault victim. Officers spoke to the victim who said he was assaulted by three males inside a residence on Winsor Street. Police say the victim was visibly injured and bleeding from the face. After speaking to the victim and other witnesses, officers located and charged Gonzalez, Green and Roberts, who were taken to jail without incident. The victim was taken to WCA Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Revie C. Luce, 38, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree assault Sunday. Police say officers were dispatched to Newland Avenue for report of an assault. Upon arrival, the victim was sitting in front of the residence and appeared to be injured. The suspect, Luce, was located inside the residence and charged. Luce was transported to jail without incident. The victim was transported to WCA Hospital for treatment of injuries.
Christopher Dellahoy of Ellery was charged with third-degree assault, endangering the welfare of a child and Edward Stanford of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and failure to pay a fine Saturday. Police say officers responded to Hazzard Street for a fight. Allegedly Dellahoy became involved in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend. He refused to leave the residence and began attacking his girlfriend and her mother, with a child present. Other family members were able to remove Dellahoy from the residence and he was later taken into custody by police as he was leaving the area. After an investigation, another tenant, Stanford, was located. He had a warrant for his arrest in addition to an order of protection prohibiting him from being around someone who resided at the residence. The two were transported to jail.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
STOCKTON - Christina M. Estus, 33, of Stockton was charged with second-degree harassment Sunday. Police say Ms. Estus has allegedly punched and slapped an elderly male, along with throwing rocks and dirt at him as he tried to leave the area.
HANOVER - Nancy Eckam, 54, of Sheridan was charged with driving while intoxicated and unsafe lane change Sunday. Police say they observed a vehicle swerve between lanes on Route 5 and 20. The vehicle was stopped and the driver, Ms. Eckam, after an investigation, was charged.
HANOVER - Kristen M. Wagner, 33, of Angola, N.Y., was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to obey a stop sign and refusing a pre-screen breath test Sunday. Police say around 2:14 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Alleghany Road for failing to stop at a stop sign. After an investigation, the driver, Ms. Wagner, was charged.
STOCKTON - Richard H. Rolfe Jr., 18, of Frewsburg was charged with unlawful possession of alcohol under the age of 21 Saturday. Police say around 11:45 p.m., officers responded to a report of a suspicious male hitchhiking. Officers later located three males sitting on a guardrail, who were identified and interviewed. During the course of the investigation, deputies found that Rolfe Jr. had two cans of beer in his jacket.
CHAUTAUQUA - Clifford C. Latta, 34, of Mayville was charged with menacing a police officer, a class D felony, on Saturday. Police say around 6:25 p.m., officers investigated an allegation of aggravated harassment involving Latta. While the officer spoke with Latta at his home, he allegedly became belligerent and armed himself with a 12-gauge shotgun despite orders from the officer to put the weapon down. Latta was eventually taken into custody without incident and charged.
SINCLAIRVILLE - Thomas Yusczyk, 54, of Sinclairville was involved in an accident Saturday on Bates Road in Sinclairville. Police say that Yusczyk was driving and swerved to avoid a deer and hit a ditch. Yusczyk was transported to WCA Hospital for treatment of a minor head injury. The accident is still under investigation and charges are pending.
POMFRET - Virginia Fransico, 54, of Fredonia was charged with failure to maintain lane, speeding and driving while intoxicated Sunday. Police say Ms. Fransico was stopped for failing to stay in her lane and was speeding. She was also found to be intoxicated.
PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE
Mary Beth Smith, 47, of Warren, Pa., was charged with public drunkenness Saturday. Police say that officers were dispatched to North State Street for a report of a highly intoxicated person in view of the public. Upon arrival, Ms. Smith was determined to be highly intoxicated in view of the public and charged.
James D. Edmisten of Pittsfield, Pa., was charged with driving while intoxicated Saturday.
Rick E. Godfrey, 59, of Warren was charged with careless driving after a motorcycle accident in Pittsfield Township on Friday. Police say Godfrey was leaving the parking lot of the Double D's when he lost control of his motorcycle, falling onto the pavement. Godfrey was transported to Warren General Hospital for treatment of injuries.
